What does it mean?
Gettaman was a comic-hero stick-figure Flash animation series serialized on Yeopgi House during Korea's early-2000s 'yeopgi' (bizarre/absurd) content boom, created by an artist known as 'Taeja.' It was one of the flagship series to emerge from the broader stick-figure ('Zzolaman'-style) animation craze that Korean teens enjoyed before webtoons existed. Early episodes had no fixed storyline and often veered into completely different directions after teasing 'to be continued,' but the later 'Sinsegi Gettaman' arc introduced a proper storyline. Creator Taeja stopped working after 2002 and disappeared without finishing the series; today, a YouTuber has restored some of the surviving Flash files as video uploads.
